Bromley builder to support Government in Parliamentary Report

23 May 2018

The Managing Director of a Bromley-based building services firm has been approached by the Government to support the construction industry through The Parliamentary Review.

Lee Summers, owner of Oakmore Builders, is to be featured in the report – an annual publication, which combines political insight and industry expertise to highlight best practice across multiple sectors.

Mr Summers has been invited to offer his professional insight into the construction industry by Sir Eric Pickles, Chairman of The Parliamentary Review.

Established in 2015, Oakmore Builders has grown to become a leading building company throughout Bromley and across South East London, and is set to achieve its first £1m turnover in the current financial year.

Lee, who possesses more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, started out as an apprentice at 15, after leaving school. Since then he has grown to become an international entrepreneur, operating property businesses in the UK and Thailand.

Oakmore specialises in home extension projects, luxury kitchens and bathrooms, as well as all major building services.

Lee Summers, Managing Director of Oakmore Builders, said: “I am extremely honoured to be involved with The Parliamentary Review, which is one of the proudest moments of my career. I have come a long way in the construction industry, having started out as an apprentice before taking the plunge into business to establish Oakmore as a respectable and professional company.

“With more than 30 years’ industry experience, I hope my insights will be of great use to the Government and in shaping the report. It will be exciting to share my own entrepreneurial experiences with senior politicians, and I am looking forward to championing the industry, which I am so passionate about, even more.”
